Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday welcomed the debut of PTVFlix, which would introduce viewers to a national treasure, PTV’s golden age. She tweeted that the project was launched in July 2022, a new video streaming OTT platform where consumers worldwide may enjoy PTV’s large library of TV episodes, dramas, documentaries, sports, and other programs.
The minister said PTV has created national treasures over the years. She said Dhoop Kangar and Aynakwala Jin are part of our communal memories. She noted PTVFlix’s extensive library of current and old content is simply accessible.
Marriaum Aurangzeb stated this effort will reconnect youth and elders with PTV content that changed countless lives. Android and iOS users can download PTVFlix. She thanked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and PTV for launching PTV Flix. She applauded their efforts to realize this vision.
She thanked Bushra Ansari, Javed Shaikh, and Khalid Abbas Dar for their particular participation in the opening ceremony.
